March 2020
As Covid 19 continues to spread and the scale of its impact is still unknown, we want to do our part to protect our community.
While we are unable to retool our shop to produce necessary equipment and supplies we believe we do have a role to play in flattening the curve.
We believe transport companies should be freed up to focus on the transport of essential goods and medical supplies. We also believe each of us individually can help reduce the overwhelming potential stress on our health care system and all front-line workers by simply staying home and allowing as many others as possible to do the same. The less we go about business as usual the more that others can stay home, we can reduce the risk of spread, and the sooner we can ALL return to work.
We these thoughts in mind we have made the decision to temporarily pause all shipments to you our customers. We thank you for your business, loyalty and understanding of our position. We will continue to adjust our plans as new information becomes available and look forward to providing unique products for your shops in the near future.
Please stay home and stay well.
July 2019 - Big News!
If you have not been following us on Instagram, then we have some exciting news for you! We are returning to the all new Toronto Gift + Home Market!! We are doing things a little different now. We will be exhibiting only our new products at the show. Yes, a whole booth of never before seen at the gift show items! We have a great new location and are looking forward to catching up with you. Stop by and say hi – we have missed you!!

January 2019 - Happy New Year to All!
2018 was a year of change for us. While we missed not attending the Gift Fair, we appreciated the time it gave us to source new materials and once again have time to get creative. While we will not be participating in the January 2019 Toronto Gift Fair, we have still been busy designing some new home décor items for this spring and are pretty excited to share them. Watch our Instagram feed as we will be showcasing these over the next few months. As always we are only a phone call (probably Ian) or email (probably Kim) away if you have any questions or special requests. Wishing everyone a prosperous 2019!
July 2018 - New Items for Fall 2018
We will not be attending the Toronto Gift Fair in August but do watch for our Fall/Winter Flyer which will be available the first week of August. Order early to get your requested ship dates as we book up quickly. Please note – special pricing in the flyer is only available until the end of August.
January 2018 – TOGiftFair, we will NOT be there
As many of you are aware, things have been a little busy here at Timbers over the last couple of years. We have come to a point now where a decision needed be made in regards to what direction to take our company. The first option was to increase our capacity to take on more work by hiring employees. The second was to step back and reduce the number of new accounts we take on and better service our current customers. After careful consideration we have come to the conclusion that what has fuelled our passion for what we do over the last 25+ years is our ability to be in control of the entire process, from finding raw materials, designing new product, interacting with our customers, to creating and shipping the final product. Thus after careful consideration we have made the decision to step back from the Toronto Gift Fair for now, continue to be hands on throughout the whole process and be able to better serve our current customers.
As of January 2018 our online ordering system is now available for you to order directly from our website. We have also created some new products for this spring / summer season and will be launching our spring catalogue in the next couple of weeks.
So while we will not be in our regular spot in the Toronto Congress Centre, we are always available by phone (you will probably get Ian) or email (you will probably get Kim) and are always happy to answer any questions you may have.

As 2017 comes to a close we would like to thank all of our customers for their patience and understanding though this year of adversity. We are very grateful for your continued patronage and supporting our small Canadian business.

We were recognized by celebrity designer Karl Lohnes and featured on his blog as one of his TOP 5 Home Decor Trends for 2017. He also discussed the handmade trend on a CTV News Ottawa segment.
